New Mark Commons is sprouting spring all over, and it’s time to prepare for the joy of warm walks and blooming foliage.
Rockville City will be sending its giant leaf vacuum device through New Mark Commons on April 11 and 12. So get out your rakes and leaf blowers between now and next Thursday and move winter’s residue to the curb!
And on April 27, please come and meet at the Clubhouse at 9 a.m. for the annual Spring Cleanup. The Landscape, Tree and Lake Committee will provide coffee and donuts before sending you out to spruce up the neighborhood.
This year, you needn’t bring clippers. Just bring rakes and work gloves and wear work clothes. The rain date is May 4.
